Barry Collins

Before entering the personal development field in 2008, Barry spent nearly 25 years in sales team and retail management. He was deeply involved in the rapid growth of mobile communications and evolving technologies during that time.

Barry’s ability to drive sales performance was unmatched. He consistently ranked among the top 10 performers in a network of over 300 branches nationwide. His success led to his role as a recruiter and trainer for Scotland, where he excelled in shaping high-performing teams.

Remaining in the mobile industry, Barry became a recognized authority on the psychology of selling and building confidence. His expertise earned him a spot on an elite national enterprise resource planning team, where he helped design training programs that were delivered to over 1,500 people.

Around 2004, Barry stumbled upon Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and was instantly captivated. This discovery led him to pursue and achieve his Practitioner certification with Dr. Richard Bandler, the Co-Founder of NLP. Supported by John LaValle and Paul McKenna, Barry’s dedication to NLP continued to grow. He later became a Master Practitioner, adding hypnotherapy to his expanding skill set.

Barry’s journey took a transformative turn after participating in a charity firewalk. The experience opened his eyes to the potential of firewalking as a powerful tool for personal growth. Inspired by his own breakthrough, Barry sought out Steve Consalvez from Success Formulae, one of the world’s few Master Certifying Firewalking Trainers and the only one in the UK at the time. Barry underwent intensive training to become a Certifying Master Firewalk Trainer himself, earning certification from Tolly Burkan.

This journey led to the creation of The Phoenix Firewalk team. Today, Barry uses his expertise to help others unlock their potential, guiding them to experience the same freedom and empowerment he discovered through firewalking.

Marina Collins

Marina’s personal development journey began after a decade of success in sales management and team development within fast-growing technology companies. In the early 2000s, she transitioned from the corporate world to pursue a more fulfilling role working with children.

However, still searching for deeper satisfaction, Marina embarked on a path of self-development. This quest led her to a transformative weekend event with renowned experts Dr. Richard Bandler, Michael Neill, and Paul McKenna. This is where her passion for personal growth truly ignited.

Recognizing the powerful impact of the teachings she encountered, she was eager to master the skills and mindset needed to make a difference. She pursued training in clinical hypnotherapy and became a skilled practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Since 2009, Marina has dedicated herself to learning from the top leaders in personal development. Her journey has been driven by a strong can-do attitude and a natural talent for recognizing and seizing opportunities that align with her passion.

Her path took a significant turn after attending a charity firewalk. The experience sparked a deep transformation within her, leading her to explore this newfound sense of empowerment. Inspired by Barry’s journey, Marina also decided to pursue this path, becoming an integral member of the Phoenix Firewalk team.

Becoming a certified Firewalk Instructor has enabled Marina to reach and inspire more people in less time. Offering others the chance to discover their inner strength and achieve their potential.
